Despite Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had instructed that his birthday must be celebrated with simplicity, the Congress’s second-rung leaders are installing hoardings and cutouts with birthday wishes to the CM in almost all the squares and busy roads across the capital city to show their loyalty towards their leader.
Most of these enthusiastic leaders are vying for lucrative posts in boards and corporations. They are utilizing the opportunity to project themselves as being loyal to the chief minister and so they are making all possible efforts to draw attention.
Roads and major squares of the capital city are filled up with hoardings and cutouts carrying images of Baghel put up by these “well wishers.” Not a single pillar or post near CM’s official residence and at party’s state headquarters Rajiv Bhawan was spared from this show of loyalty.
