The DAV Public School, Pokhariput here organised its annual school exhibition ‘Majestic Vikram: The lander of success ladder - 2019’ commemorating centenary birth anniversary of Sir Vikram A Sarabhai on Saturday with the theme ‘water conservation’.
The event was inaugurated by Madan Mohan Panda, Chairman of the School Managing Committee, Dr KC Satapathy, Regional Officer, DAV Institutions, Odisha Zone-1 and AK Pati, Principal of Doon International School, Bhubaneswar.
The celebration saw more than 300 displays dotting several sections of scholastic areas in science, social studies and mathematics exhibiting models and methods that were useful and sustainable in conserving water and with participation ranging from Classes-III to XII.
Nearly 170 interdisciplinary models were exhibited by Standards-III to V students on the theme ‘Mahanadi’.
