Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) launched its 4G services in Daltonganj on Saturday. The event was inaugurated by KK Thakur, the Chief General Manager (CGM) of BSNL Jharkhand.
On the occasion, Thakur tested the 4G service by using his 4G phone to call up a BSNL official in Daltongunj and found the speed to be excellent.
Thakur and other officials of BSNL including General Manager (Mobile), Sujit Kumar and General Manager (Marketing) Ramashray Prasad said that BSNL has always been committed to enhancing the experience of its’ customers by using new facilities and technologies in the field of mobile services.
The officers informed that 4G services for areas like Simdega, Lohardaga, Latehar, Palamu and Garhwa will also start in a phased manner from this month.
To avail these facilities, BSNL users should replace their 2G/3G sim with 4G sims which are available for free in retail outlets and customer service centres, failing which their services will be stopped.
