Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday said that within next six months, every village in the state will be provided 24-hour power supply and water from tap in every household.
Speaking during the Jan Ashirwad Yatra at Narnaund in Hisar, Khattar said that the Yatra started on August 18 and now only four days are left.
He said in 2014, the present State government had promised that clean administration will be provided to the people, adding that the Government has started Saral Kendras, Antyodaya Kendras, e-Disha Kendras and Cyber Café where the common man can file his complaint or fill his form online.
The Chief Minister said that the State Government has implemented the online teachers transfer policy. He said that earlier there used to be slip system for giving government jobs, but now jobs are given on merit basis.
Khattar said that the present government has also done work to improve the condition of women and in this series, gas cylinders have been made available to each household. On this occasion, the Chief Minister asked that the women, who do not have gas cylinders in their houses, should raise their hands. On this, three women raised their hands and the Chief Minister ordered the Sub Divisional Officer of Narnaund to provide gas cylinders to all the families, who do not have gas cylinders in their house, within 48 hours.
He said that new schemes are being introduced so that the life of the people can be made easier. In this series, water will be delivered from tap to every kitchen in the coming five years, on which work has been started.
Finance Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu said that the Chief Minister gave approval to all the development works in Narnaund Assembly Constituency, be it the work of building a college, the work of building ITI, the work of giving the status of sub-division, the work of building a museum in Rakhigarhi, the matter of bringing the railway line to Narnaund or to deliver water. The Chief Minister has always preferred development which is why, there is all round development in Narnaund.
