Splendid performances of 'classical music' and 'Bundeli jas Geet' and 'folk dance of Haryana' were staged on Sunday at Madhya Pradesh State Tribal Museum.
The performances were held under Uttaradhikar series.
The programme started with 'classical singing'. Samhita Nandi performed classical singing in Shuddha Kalyan Raag. After this, there was a presentation of Nee, Sunat Khabariya..Thumari from Peya's pomp. Samhita Nandi is a prominent female Indian classical singer of the grocery house.
Nandi has been consistently giving presentations in many places in India including other countries.
In the second performance, Bhajan Sandhya was performed in the traditional Bundali style singing the Goddess Mahima of 'Jas Geet'. In which songs like Meri Maiya Virajo More Kantha, Ganga Jaman Baloo Sand, Ram Raghuveer crying 'Bol Maya Re', Kayel Vole Sua Aam Dar in Dholagir and others.
Sanjay Yadav Supporting Artist, Shubham Yadav Assistant Singer and Dholak Player Mahendra Singh Chauhan Harmonium Player, Harish Vishwakarma Dholak Player Rajesh Malviya, Nitesh Shriwas Jheka Player, Nitin Kushwaha, Asharam Sharma Manjira Player, Bhupendra Sharma Lota Player, Govind Kushwatta The player collaborated.
The presentation was directed by Mahendra Singh Chauhan.
In the last performance, Haryana's traditional customs and cultural dances and songs were performed with joy. Folk, Ghoomar and Dhamaal also featured folk songs and ragani in the folk dance of Haryana. In the month of Phagun on the auspicious occasion of festivals, mutual love and affection of husband-wife, brother-in-law and brother-in-law were presented with flowers and colors in the song and dance.
In Ghoomar dance, woman demands her husband for jewelry and clothes on the occasion of happiness.
After getting all that, all the women gather and show their happiness by dancing around the ghoomar.
In the Dhamaal dance, all the male farmers perform the Dhamaal dance in gratitude to God for the good crop that has been produced in his field.
