The Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) will soon carry out a ‘drone survey’ in its jurisdiction under the Smart City Mission, RMC Commissioner Rajat Bansal informed in a press release.
He informed that the RMC under the Raipur Smart City Mission will carry out State’s first GIS based drone survey and carry out data collection to prepare a total of 54 local base maps.
The work of green tree census, data on population change, building change detection, plan for catchments of reservoirs and data on level of encroachment on main roads would be collected through drone pictures, Bansal informed.
