Musical concert 'Main Hoon Kishore' organises at Samanvay Bhawan

A musical concert was organised here on Monday evening at Samanvay Bhavan. The live concert ‘Main Hoon Kishore’ was commenced to observe the birth anniversary of the most noted Bollywood singer and actor Kishore Kumar. The concert was organised by Samrat Sangeet Sadhna Seva Samiti, Bhopal.

The director of the organisation Sunil Shukrvare told The Pioneer, “We organised this musical concert to celebrate Kishore Kumar’s birthday which was on August 4. This concert was a tribute to one of the best singer and actor of Bollywood.” There were around 25 songs presented by the singers of the city at the concert.

Renonwned Bollywood singer Sundesh Bhonsle was also present on the occasion. During the programme, a ‘Kishore Memorable Award’ was also presented to Sudesh Bhonsle.

On asking about organising such concerts earlier Shukrvare said, “Earlier we have organised similar concerts in Rajasthan, Delhi, Mumbai, Chhattisgarh and other cities of the country. Besides, we only commence musical shows and live concerts”, he added further. Elaborating further he said, “We also provide a platform to the new talents of the city whether in singing or instrumental.”

The concert was much enjoyed by the audiences and many people took the pleasure to go back in the old times. The audiences were awestruck by the performance of the artists. The songs took the audiences back in the era of black and white movies. There were songs like Phoolon ke rang se, Ek Ajnabi Haseena, Chudi nahi ye and many more presented
