2 CSpur DAVians chosen for World Robot Olympiad
Bhubaneswar: Sai Suman Bebarta and Tanvi Mallick of Class-VII of the DAV Public School Chandraseekharpur here have been selected to participate in the World Robot Olympiad in Thailand from November 16 to 18. Their project on Farm-O--Bot was adjudged as 2nd best in the food matters category at the National Championship held at Ahmedabad recently. Sai and Tanvi participated in the under ATL open category with coach Subhadipta Jena. Each was given a memento and a certificate.
VSS Nagar body brings soil for Durga idol
Bhubaneswar: The VSS Nagar Puja Committee on Friday conducted a puja on the auspicious Sunian Tithi and brought soil from the Kuakhai river for making of idol for the coming Durga Puja. Committee president Artatrana Dalai, VP Nimai Das, general secretary Sital Chandra Mohanty, Pratap Kumar Nanda, Dillip Dashsharma, Shiba Prasad Mishra, Uma Ballav Mishra and many other members visited the riverbank, performed Puja and brought the soil. The puja committee has been performing the ritual since 40 years.
