Income Tax (IT) Department sleuths on Wednesday raided the establishments of Rama group and Hind Energy in the State, officials informed.
These business houses operate in fields of real estate, coal and chemicals. The raids were conducted at the establishments situated at Raipur, Bilaspur, Korba and Ambikapur.
Under supervision of a Commissioner rank officer, more than 150 officers from Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday morning simultaneously raided the establishments of these business houses in Raipur, Bilaspur, Korba and Ambikapur. The raid were also conducted at Corporate office of Rama Group situated at Bilaspur as well as residence of owners at link Road and Korba.
The sleuths also raided Shrikant Verma Road based head office of Hind Energy.
The search had been underway till the fling of this story.
