Women doctors wing of IMA Jharkhand and Health Department will organise Mega Women's Health Camp at Ranchi Sadar Hospital on November 4 2018 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
For every woman coming to the camp, 1 month iron folic acid and calcium tablets will be provided free of cost. Women suffering white flux from genitalia will get tablets of Kit 2 and Kit 6. A team of Max Super Specialty Hospital, Delhi's trained gynaecologist will provide their services.
Dr Bharti Kashyap, chairperson of Women's Branch, Jharkhand unit of Indian Medical Association said that many new methods are being used to improve the efforts and investigations for women in view of cervical cancer. Since the screening facility is not available for women in every district or remote hospitals. Therefore, Women’s Wing has taken the lead in fulfilling this challenge in a timely manner.
Dr Kashyap said that a she has personally bought a complete set of digital video machines for examination. Presently this machine will be provided temporarily for the examination and treatment of patients of Sadar Hospital. This will be the attempt of women doctors associated with this campaign to make this device available permanently to Sadar Hospital within next 6 months so that the existing installed machinery can be used in other districts in a time bound manner.
