The new India that citizens will be living in will have equal opportunities for every citizen. Shaurya Doval, the director of India Foundation and son of National Security Advisor Ajit Doval said this during a talk session with the students of Welham Boys School here on Monday.
Talking about the future of India, he said, "The new India that we will be living in will have equal opportunities for every citizen. The expectations from the coming generation will be much higher. One's qualification will be based on his or her merit and not on the background."
Speaking on the subject of gender equality, he said that women will add up to the level of overall competition. He also spoke about his father NSA Ajit Doval during his speech.
Concluding his speech, Shaurya advised the students, "You should always think beyond yourself and your greater powers will unleash."
It was an interactive sessions with the students where Shaurya reflected his thoughts on India and its various aspects.
