Dehradun marathon held against drugs

Stage is set for the Dehradun Marathon-2018. The event being organised by Uttarakhand Police would be inaugurated by the Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Sunday. The organisers claim that about 20,000 people would participate in the half marathon and give a message against substance abuse.

In the event, the participants from 20 States would participate while 32 foreigners would also take part in it. The secretary of police sports control board and additional DGP Ashok Kumar said that a total of 18,800 participants have submitted online application to take part in the event.

The 21 km race would start at police line and it would culminate at police line after traversing through EC Road, Rajpur Road, Canal Road and Kathbangla.
