Swachhta,Swasthy and Shakahar week was organised commemorating the 150th Birth Anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi in DAV Public School Hazaribagh. The week concluded with position holders of different competitions being felicitated by Megha Bhardwaj Sadar SDO Hazaribag.
Encouraging the students , she said that they should develop their confidence in themselves and should participate in all kinds of competitions with bubbling enthusiasm, a press release issued by the school said. The spirit of healthy participation in such kind of co scholastic activities often help a lot in personality development. The SDO stressed on vegetarian food saying that it would always keep the body healthy. She felicitated the performers of Essay Competition, Painting and Fancy Dress Competition, the release said.
On this occasion ,a Hindi skit named Bapu Tum Kanha Ho was also enacted by the students .The Principal of the school Ashok Kumar welcomed the dignitaries and said that it was indeed motivating moment for the children .He also thanked the Chief Guest Megha Bhardwaj for sparing her precious moments and for inspiring the children.
