Ranchi won 16-1 by defeating Palamu while latehar won form 1-0 by defeating Garwah in the Zonal level Chief Minister Invitation Football Competition 2017 on Thursday organised at Birsa Munda Football stadium.
The competition was organised by Sports Department, was inaugurated by Amar Kumar Bauri Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Department.
MlA Kanke, Dr. Jitucharan Ram, Rahul Shama, Secretary, Tourism, Arts, Culture, Sports And the Department of Youth Affairs, Manoj Kumar, Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi, Rajendra Kumar, Director, Sports and Youth Affairs were present during the inaugural eve.
The teams of six districts including Ranchi, Ramgarh, lohardaga, latehar, Palamu and Garhwa are participating in the Football Competition.
