The historic Nagar Parikrama of Jhanda Mela to be led by Mahant Devendra Das Maharaj of Guru Ram Rai Darbar will be held on Sunday with thousands of Sangats (devotees) mainly from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan thronging the city. The religious procession is held every year on the third day following the celebration of the birthday of Shri Guru Ram Rai Maharaj.
The Nagar Parikrama starts from Guru Ram Rai Darbar and goes up to the Clock Tower from where it returns to the point it starts from at Darbar Sahib.
