JHASA felicitates doctors

Jharkhand State Health Service Association (JHASA) felicitated on Sunday doctors including Dr Praveen Siddharth, Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at Daltonganj Sadar Hospital, who had recently saved the life of a youth by donating his own blood in the course of operation. The award was given the special mention category ‘Service to mankind beyond the call of duty’.

Director, Health Services, Dr Pravin Chandra felicitated the doctor for delivering duties with utmost competency by going beyond official task and asked the other medicos who attended the ceremony to set examples for the rest of the society.

During the felicitation ceremony, Palamu district bagged best district prize for providing best medical services. Few doctors from different commissionaires were also felicitated.

Meanwhile, during the JHASA annual meet, the newly appointed office bearers were administered oath.

The team members further brainstormed on the different plan of actions while strengthening the committees. Approximately, 400 doctors rendering their services at government hospital across the State were present during the annual conference and shared their ideas besides keeping the challenges and difficulty they face while delivering their duties. 

“The annual JHASA conference was organised to discuss future plans and also to felicitate the doctors, elect office bearers. Issues like restructuring of health department, promotions were raised with priority during the annual meet,” said, JHASA General Secretary Dr Bimilesh. Remembering Dr Pranav during the meet who died recently, JHASA members handed over Rs. 1 lakh cheque to his family members and prayed for the departed soul.
