Hry approves two roads connecting Hisar, Jind

The Haryana Government has approved the construction of two new roads connecting Hisar and Jind. This will reduce the distance between Hisar and Jind by about 12 km via Barwala and about 11 km via Hansi.

On the request of the Narnaund MlA and Finance Minister Capt Abhimanyu, Chief Minister Manohar lal had announced the construction of these roads. The work of land acquisition or purchase for both roads will be started very soon, said an official spokesman.

He said that since the formation of Haryana, there is no road connecting Jind directly with Hisar, but now two new roads would be built which would benefit the local people in particular and other in general.

Giving more details, he said that the first road would pass through Mirjapur, Kharkari, Channot, Masudpur, lohari, Rakhi Sahpur, Milakpur and Gulkani and connect Hisar with Jind. The second road that would connect these cities would pass through Mirjapur, Kharkari, Channot, Masudpur, Moth and Narnaund.

The total length of this road would be 62.7 km and this would reduce distance between Hisar and Jind by 12 km. The road would be constructed with 7 meter metalled width and the land width would be 66 feet, said he.

 He further said that people of Naranund assembly constituency would be immensely benefited with construction of these two roads as both roads connecting Jind and Hisar would pass through the constituency. The government will undertake land acquisition process for these roads through e-bhoomi portal.
