'Babumoshai Bandookbaaz is a must watch'

If you are fed-up with those irksome love-stories then Babumoshai Bandookbaaz is a must watch for you,” says the Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

The actor was in Bhopal on Wednesday along with his co-actresses Shraddha Das and Bidita Bag. Producer of the movie Ashmit Kunder also accompanied the lead cast of the movie.

Babumoshai Bandookbaaz is an upcoming movie wherein Nawaz would be seen in a role of a sharp shooter. He will be seen romancing with Shraddha and Bidita on screen. While talking about the movie, Nawaz said, “This movie is entirely a different concept and will be a fun to watch”

While making a sarcastic comment on the romantic movies with the same concept, Nawaz said, “Agar aap anuman wahi kahaniya dekh kar pak chuke hain to yeh film zaroor dekhien.” Adding a smile to it, he said, “I just want to do realistic movies which make the audience feel connected. I do not want to dance around trees.”

Having a candid talk with the media persons Nawaz, Bidita and Shraddha spoke on other issues as well. Speaking on racism and his recently launched short movie ‘Dark and lovely’ Nawaz said, “I always wondered why I am not confident about my colour and then I realized that the problem lies with the society and not with complexion.”

On Chitrangana Singh’s leaving the movie mid-way Nawaz says that it is a part of professional life. “Nothing to be serious about,” he added. Speaking in favour of Supreme Court’s decision on Triple Talaq he said that it is a good decision by the court.

While Bidita and Shraddha spoke on Nepotism saying that it is practiced in the industry. Bidita said, “I think highlighting Nepotism in film industry we should highlight it in other fields like sports and politics which help in economy of our country on large.”

Signing off Nawaz praised the city of lakes and said, “I think this city is one of the beautiful cities of India and should be maintained this way.”
