New virtual learning app

The Tanlentedge, Gurugram–based Ed–Tech firm, in collaboration with Xavier School of Management (XlRI), Jamshedpur, launched virtual learning platform — Social learning Interface Quantum (SlIQ) 2.0. A great combination of artificial intelligence and machine learning, the platform offers executive education programmes for working professionals who, despite hectic work life, can now learn the skill through this virtual learning platform.

“The idea is to built a platform that can replicate a physical classroom into virtual and make it easy for the working professionals to study new-age courses like HR, Data Science, Financial Accounting and Audit, Talent Management, leadership and change management and Strategic Performance Management. We have generated one lakh queries in a month across 250 cities,” Aditya Malik ,CEO, Talentegde, says.

Minimum two years of working experience is required to enroll for the programmes. The cost of each class starts from Rs 1,000 and varies according to the type of courses. learners can apply for the courses on website www.tanletedge.in or register at sliq app.

“XlRI is committed towards delivering the curriculum effectively. Innovations like SlIQ help us refine our courses to meet the needs of learners and industry. It will enhance students’ learning through futuristic technology. Integrating AI in the learning platform is a path breaking step from our partner, Talentedge,” Father E Abraham, director, XlRI, says.

The app enables mentor and the learner to record their progress during the course on their respective dashboards. The participant can track the number of lectures he has attended, how many assignments he accessed and date for the course completion. On the other hand Faculty’s dashboard will be showing number of lectures/modules completed, live class reminder and assignments assigned by the faculty to the students.

SlIQ 2.0 is the updated version of SlIQ app which is available for both Android and IOS having different dashboards for mentor and the learner. The AI driven platform will record student’s participation in terms of data searched by the student on the portal, textual activity and facial expressions of the students. It will also update the students’ picture in every five to 10 seconds on the faculty’s screen to ensure his/her actual presence during the lecture.

Adding to the benefits of learning through this platform faculty at XlRI Rama K Kakani says: “People are busy but they have ambition to grow. We have reach now and the executives can attend our programme from anywhere safely and securely.”
