The next episode of Koffee with Karan has excitement and laughter in store as Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma will make their first appearance together

After some fun duos on the show, Karan will be hosting the first girl power duo this season. Bollywood beauties or in Karan’s words, ‘crazy’ actresses, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif will grace the Koffee couch, promising an episode where the levels of madness, hilarity and laughter will be sky rocket high. So much so that the two girls will leave the otherwise cool, calm and collected Karan Johar having a meltdown in the midst of the show, a first in Koffee history.

After being discussed, rated and analysed in almost every episode of Koffee with Karan this season, the actresses, let loose and are candid like never before even as they gang up against Karan. The comfort and rapport that they share is evident as they rag Arjun Kapoor, who is back in his third appearance this season, this time for the ‘Kiss With Arjun’ segment.

The actresses says that being a Bollywood star is no walk in the park. Apart from always being under public scrutiny, what makes life even tougher is the fact that one’s relationships are discussed, analysed and taken apart with no detail spared in the media. Both Katrina and Anushka have had their fair share of speculations and stories surrounding their alleged relationships and Karan asked them on the show whether this bothered them. Katrina truthfully admits “When you are the eye of the storm, dealing with issues that shake up your entire life, the weather reports become irrelevant.” Anushka is in full agreement with the former stating that she completely avoids reading about herself in the news or tracking mentions on social media or watching herself on television. “Sometimes ignorance can be bliss,” adds Anushka.

Katrina and Anushka believes that not everything you feel has to be expressed.  In their own words, both of them are largely anti-social. While they are amiable and friendly with their co-stars and peers, they both enjoy their own space. “I love people, but from far,” says Katrina.  And she definitely does not like speaking about people, which is one of the reasons she was hesitant to make an appearance on Koffee with Karan and rate people even in jest.
