Audi unveils its fastest model R8 amid much anticipation. By S Bhaskaran

Saturday evening saw some of the most passionate car enthusiasts from the city at the launch of the latest Audi R8 car. The fastest model from Audi to be launched in India, it boasts of some never-before-seen features in automobiles in the country. The German luxury car manufacturer set the pulses racing in New Delhi as it launched the most powerful and fastest production Audi ever built amid much exhilaration, marking an important milestone in the luxury car brand’s history in India.

The launch party celebrated the R8’s entry into the Indian market, with the car makers giving its patrons a special sneak-peak into the car’s unique and stylish features. The R8 can't help but steal the spotlight. With its sharp, angular lines and exotic, glass-covered engine, the R8 has a wide and commanding presence that makes it impossible to look anywhere else. But before the swanky car was unveiled for the guests at the Audi showroom, they were treated to an evening of great live music with an ensemble of musicians from abroad who got the party going with mesmerising jazz music. Far away from regular-day cars that do not intimidate you a bit, the R8 gives you the idea of its ‘monstrous’ potential just by its sheer design. This latest avatar in particular gets a meaner, sharper and more aggressive stance.

This second generation Audi R8 V10 Plus, has power, speed and performance taking dynamism to the limit. We are sure that our patrons will love this powerful car which goes from 0 to 100 km/h in only 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 330 km/h.
