Haryana whistleblower IAS officer Pradeep Kasni, who has been transferred for more than 60 times in 32 years, has been shunted out again, just two days after he was posted as Secretary Finance.

Kasni was on Wednesday transferred to Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Department, which is considered a relatively unimportant department in Government circles.

The State Government had on Monday transferred him from Science and Technology Department and posted him as Secretary, Finance.

However, he has been transferred again in just two days. The 1997 batch IAS officer has reportedly been transferred for the 66th time.

IAS Pradeep Kasni has been transferred several times and continued to languish at inconsequential postings during Manohar lal Khattar Government despite the BJP making corruption a big issue in the last year’s Assembly and parliamentary elections.

The State Government has termed it “routine” transfer of six officers.

Meanwhile, the State Government has also transferred charge-sheeted IAS Subhash Chandra to Finance Department.

In a major administrative reshuffle, the State Government had two days back transferred 27 IAS officers including Subhash Chandra, who was posted as Director General of consolidation of holdings and land records apart from other assignments.

He was charge-sheeted for executing a land deal beyond his jurisdiction during previous tenure in land consolidation department.

Among others who were transferred on Wednesday included Nitin Kumar Yadav, who is posted as Secretary, Home-I Department.

Mohammed Shayin, on return from leave, has been posted as Managing Director, Federation of Cooperative Sugar Mills limited. Wazeer Singh Goyat goes as Director, Industries and Commerce and Special Secretary, Industries Department while Vijayendra Kumar has been given additional charge of, Consolidation of Holdings, land

Records, Special Collector (Headquarters) and Special land Acquisition Officer apart from his present duties.
