Tula group celebrates its silver jubilee

Tula’s group celebrated its silver jubilee with Bombay Rockers in the campus of Tula institute. They opened the concert with their famous song ‘Rock Tha Party’. A ripple of excitement ran through the crowd when the duo performed their most famous number from the movie Rocky Handsome.

Bombay Rockers is a Danish/Indian band formed in the year 2002. It is comprised of Indian singer Navtej Singh Rehal, popularly known as Naf, and Danish singer Thomas Sardorf. Their hit single “Rock Tha Party” became a major radio hit after its release in 2004.The Rockers are currently enjoying great success in India. Currently they are working on upcoming Bollywood projects.

The emcee on the occasion was a professional anchor, stand-up comic stage and Television artist Jitesh Chawla. He is famous for his mimicry acts of Bollywood celebrities. He is from the laughter Challenge fame. Jitesh kept the audience engaged and made them laugh with his witty sense of humor.

The highlights of the evening were a play directed by Deepak Bangwal and group, dance performances by Vibrations and standup comedy by Gutham Guthi, a character played by Jitesh.

Chairman of Tula Group, S.K. Jain was the protagonist of the play. The play depicted the journey of Sunil Jain in setting up and running of Tula’s Group. It showcased the 25 year-long journey of hard work, patience and endurance. Deepak Bangwal and group is a famous theatre group from Dehradun.
