The impossible to possible mission can be achieved only when one has clarity of mind, practice common sense and can apply logic, said owner of Supply chain support system ‘Samridhi’, Kaushelendra Kumar while addressing management students at University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) on Tuesday.
Kumar is famously known as ‘MBA Sabjiwala’ for he choose to built a supply chain for fresh vegetables for the benefit of farmers rather than joining a high paying job after doing MBA from prestigious IIM Ahmedabad .
Speaking on the topic of ‘Developing Start up Ecosystem in developing states with impetus on technology startups, Opportunities in Manufacturing and Services,’ Kumar shared his own experiences with the audience. In his address he stressed on hard work and clarity of vision.
“In this day and age there is no dearth of investors wanting to invest in start- up ventures provided they are satisfied with the proposed model and get convinced by commitment of the promoter,’’ he said. He also inspired students to always keep in mind that they also need to pay back to the society while pursuing their career objectives.
The Founder secretary general of Bihar Entrepreneurs Association (BEA), Abhishek Singh, and colleague of Kaushlendra Kumar threw light on the current policy environment for developing start-up Ecosystem with technology interventions in developing States like Uttarakhand, in his address.
The programe was organised by the department of Economics and International Business in College of Management and Economic Studies at UPES and was attended by Vice Chancellor Shrihari, faculty members and students.
