Madhya Pradesh Association of Women Entrepreneurs (MAWE) organised a roadshow for “Think -Big” and a “Women entrepreneurs meet” here on Friday at Marriot Hotel.
The meet was attended by almost 60 to 70 eminent women entrepreneurs of Bhopal, varying from fashion industry to the aviation
industry, vibrant service sectors of education, food, hotel chains and manufacturing in different sectors marked their presence.
Minister for women and child development Archana Chitnis was the chief guest, while PS women and child development Ministry JN Kansotiya was the guest of honour. A delegation of MAWE members from Jabalpur headed by MAWE President Archana Bhatnagar was also present.
Chitnis was happy to note that MAWE’s aim for empowering women for financial independence through entrepreneurship would empower the children family and society at large. She encouraged women entrepreneurs of Bhopal and MP to participate in the ‘WE Connect THINK-BIG 2016’ event in Bangalore in November and increase their networks.
Kansotia mentioned the activities of MAWE for last many years and lauded the work being done to empower women through entrepreneurship.
Executive Director of WE Connect India Parul Soni and Gourav Pandya explained how women entrepreneurs can get opportunities for being a vendor of their products and services to any MNC chain throughout the world.
Bhatnagar has been contributing to policy making for women entrepreneurs with MSME Govt. Of India, WTO Geneva and United Nations at New York, through various presentations MAWE has made there.
Convenor MAWE Bhopal Chapter Molly Joy shared her success Story of how networks like MAWE & International networks of UN have helped her get business from foreign countries.
