The &TV’s popular social drama ‘Gangaa’, set in the heartland of India has been entertaining the audience with an interesting storyline. Aditi Sharma and Ruhana, artists of the serial were in the State capital here on Friday in connection with its promotion.
After Krishna’s (Ruhanna Khanna) entry in the show the plot has got even more exciting. last time it was Aditi who stepped into little Ruhana’s shoes as Gangaa as the show took a leap; and now Ruhana is seen essaying her on-screen daughter.
Seen as a lawyer on the show, Gangaa’s challenge currently is to instill the right values and integrity in her daughter.
Talking about visiting Bhopal, powerhouse of performance, Ruhana said, “Gangaa is my first television show and very close to my heart. I have received a lot of recognition and love from the audiences for playing Gangaa and now they have accepted my new stint as Krishna. Both these characters are very different and I love this new phase.”
Aditi Sharma who plays Gangaa added, “It’s been a beautiful new journey in Gangaa's life. The exciting part is that Ruhana who played little Gangaa is back on the show. She is a beautiful child and a delight to work with. We keep having fun during our shoots. I hope the audience is liking this new journey of Gangaa as a single mother, friend and confidante to her daughter Krishna who means the world to her. I love visiting Bhopal and eating the lovely street food out here.”
