Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan welcomed Acharya Vidya Sagar Ji on his arrival at Bhopal on Monday. He presented coconut to Acharya Vidya Sagar Ji. Finance Minister Jayant Malaiya, Revenue Minister Umashankar Gupta, Energy Minister Paras Jain, Health Minister Rustam Singh, Minister of State for Health Sharad Jain, Minister of State for Culture and Tourism Surendra Patwa and Mayor Alok Sharma were also present on the occasion.

The Chief Minister said that Bhopal has been purified due to arrival of Acharya Shri. Non-violence is the only path of peace. Saints like Acharya Vidya Sagar Ji show us path of righteousness during present era. Only Acharya Shri can teach the lesson as to how bliss can be attained in life.

Acharya Shri said that though all are engaged in development of self, but poverty is removed by people engaged in others' welfare.

Acharya Shri Vidya Sagar Ji will observed Chaturmas in Habibganj Jain Mandir. large number devotees were also present on the occasion.

Arrangements for 27 housing units, tent for sermons, food and parking have been made at the Jain temple, Habibganj, where Jain Muni along with his Sangh is staying for four months (Chaturmas).

On Monday morning, the Jain Muni left from Bhanpur in the outskirts of Bhopal and arrived at the temple at around 10 am. On the way, at a number of places, they were welcomed by showering flower petals.

Jain Muni Vidyasagar had first arrived in the city in April 2002 and then he had delivered sermons at lal Parade ground and other places from April 17 to 25. The next time he had arrived on December 9, 2003.
