The Chandigarh Housing Board on Monday said that the Sector 51-A two Hundred two Bed Room Flats Self Financing Housing Scheme 2016 was fully subscribed and 225 application forms have been received and more application forms were expected to be received.
It said that although details are being compiled, at-least 25 application forms have been submitted under the Assured Allotment Scheme (Scheme ‘B’) whereby applicants were free to bid an amount higher than Rs.69 lacs (in multiples of Rs.50,000) for assured allotment. If, by the end of the day, the 50 flats under Plan B of the Assured Allotment Scheme are not fully subscribed, the remaining nos. of flats will be transferred to the General Pool of
Scheme ‘A’.
The Board said that similarly, in any of the reserved categories, if enough applications have not been received, the remaining nos. of flats will be transferred to the
General Pool Category of Scheme ‘A’.
Five per cent of the total number of flats under Scheme ‘A’ have been reserved for oustees under “The Implementation of National Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme, 2010” notified by the Chandigarh Administration.
