In the recently-declared results of the All India Medical Entrance Exam (NEET), 31 students from the DAV Public School, Chandrsekharpur were placed within 25,000 All India Ranks (AIR).
A total of 102 students of the school appeared the NEET. Out of them, 94 have been put within the merit list.
Best three students B Sarthak, Adarsh Mohapatra and Anjaneya Dhal secured rank 110, 177 and 299 respectively. Other 13 students are within 6,000 ranks and 19 students within 10,000 ranks. A sum total of 31 students are within 25,000.
These students are eligible to get seats in different prestigious medical colleges of India.
After detail deliberation and guidelines from the Supreme Court, the board has announced that from the coming year NEET is mandatory for the entire Medical and Dental Colleges.
The School Principal, Chairman, teachers and parents congratulated the qualifiers.
Notably, out of the total MBBS seats (52,715), this year 30,000 seats would be filled up from the NEET qualifiers. Remaining 22, 715 seats will be filled up through the State level PMT.
