In aother major reshuffle in the IPS cadre, ten senior police officers were on Thursday transferred to different positions in West Bengal.

Kalyan Mukhopadhyay, Special Superintendent IB, has been transferred as DC Traffic (South), Kolkata replacing Niladri Chakraborty, who has been asked to take over as Commandant, State Armed Police, 3rd Battalion.
Debabrata Das, DC North Howrah Police Commissionerate, has been asked to take over as DC Headquarters, Howrah Police Commissionerate replacing Ramendra Nath Banerjee, who has been transferred as DC Zone-II Howrah Police Commissionerate.
