In less than two and a half years of operations and within one year of applying for NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals) accreditation, the Synergy Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun, has become the first and only hospital in Uttarakhand and its adjoining region to achieve both the most prestigious patient care quality accreditation of the country — NABH and NABl (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration laboratories).
On the occasion of the NABH Accreditation Ceremony, CME (Continuous Medical Education)/ conclave on “Quality Standard in patient care” will be held between 9 am to 2.30 pm in Dehradun on Sunday, said Synergy Institute of Medical Sciences chairman and CEO Dr Krishan Avtar while interacting with the media persons on Saturday. The speakers of the scientific session are Dr Gayatri Mahendroo (director, NABH), Dr Alok Ahuja (Director, Ahuja Pathology) and Dr Ajeet Kumar Singh (MS, SIMS). This conclave will be attended by the members of the medical fraternity of Dehradun and adjoining areas.
The accreditation certificate will be awarded to Synergy Institute of Medical Science by the director NABH. On the occasion, the State Chief Minister Harish Rawat will be the chief guest while Surender Negi, Health Minister, will be the guest of honour. He said that Synergy Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun is the most comprehensive multi super specialty tertiary care hospital focusing on Neuro, Cardio, Gastro, Renal Sciences, Trauma and Critical Care.
