The State Government on Friday transferred seven IPS officers, including former DGP Rajiv Kumar, who has been made the new Chairperson of Jharkhand Police Housing Corporation from the post of DG (Training). ADG (Rail) BB Pradhan has been transferred and posted as ADG (Vigilance), JUVNl.
IG (Special Branch) Anurag Gupta has been promoted to the rank of ADG and has been posted as ADG (Special Branch), while IG (STF) RK Mallick has been made IG (Provision). Mallick will hold additional charge of IG (STF).
Also, SP (Special Branch) Manoj Kumar Singh has been made Commandant of JAP 06 at Jamshedpur. Senior DSP (Special Branch) Sandhya Rani Mehta has been posted as Commandant in-charge of JAP 10. JAP 06 Commandant Ashwini Kumar Sinha has been made SP in-charge (Special Branch). The state government has also relieved 2006 batch IPS officer Jatin Narwal to take charge in the AGMUT cadre.
