Renowned master chef Sanjeev Kapoor has said that culinary art of India appeals beyond the limits of the country and is embraced by several countries. He was speaking at the inauguration of his first restaurant in the State ‘The Yellow Chilli’ franchise on Monday. At the inauguration, Kapoor not only interacted with the citizens, but also culinary acumen.
During his interaction with the citizens, Kapoor said that the dishes offered in the restaurant display his proficiency and at the same time along with the maintaining of quality of the food, special attention is paid on providing healthy food to the customers. Replying to an interesting query, he said that he follows his heart in eating and whatever he likes he goes for it and eats it with interest and never diets.
Kapoor said that any kind of food would be tasty only if it is made with truth and food would never have taste if it is made without interest. Reading and following huge and different culinary literature could not help in making good food, but it is made from the core of the heart. Around 70 restaurants are owned by Kapoor and also owns channel Food Food. Apart from having restaurant in Mumbai, Kapoor owns 12 restaurants in Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Nepal, Canada and Bangladesh.
