The Rotary Club of Raipur in collaboration with Matra Chaya Seva Sanstan organised Mother’s Day at Sanstan’s campus on Saturday. On the occasion of Mother’s Day, Rotary Club donated `5,001 and two food grain saving drum to Matra Chaya Seva Sanstan. The vice-chancellor Pt RSU Prof SK Pandey was the chief guest while Rotary Club of Raipur president Dr Sachchidanand Joshi presided over.
Prof Pandey honored the working women in the institute with sari. Calling upon the children and worker of the Institute Prof Pandey said work dawn by the women of the institute is appreciable; these women are taking care of the children like their mother.
Founder of the Sanstahn Sudhakar Konda Purkar in his address said we have adopted 85 orphan children in which 55 are girl and 30 are boys. The institute runs only by the help of donation, without any Government fund again stress he said adding the real mother is who take care of the children not the mother who gives bath to the children.
The occasion was marked with presence of RTN Basudev Narang, RTN Somiay Agrawal, RTN Malavika Joshi, RTN P Chowla, RTN Sengupta, RTN Narendra Tripathi among others.
