Punjab transfers 31 officers including 18 IAS and 13 PCS

In a major administrative reshuffle, the Punjab Government on Sunday ordered the transfer or posting of 31 officers of the State, including 18 IAS and 13 PCS officers.

Spokesperson of the Chief Minister’s Office said that Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal cleared the file related to the postings and transfer on Sunday evening.

As per the orders, IAS officer Arun Sekhri has been given the additional charge of Sugarfed managing director in addition to his current posting of additional Registrar Cooperative Societies (RCS). He has been relieved from the charge of special secretary power.

IAS officer Rambir has been posted as additional Excise and Taxation Commissioner (ETC), Ghanshyam Thori as additional Commissioner, ludhiana MC and given additional charge of ludhiana MC Commissioner (during the training of GK Singh).

Kanwalpreet Brar has been posted as GlADA chief administrator vice Shruti Singh who has been posted as Special Secretary Finance vice Gurneet Kaur Tej who has been posted as Special secretary Cooperation.

Dharam Pal Gupta has been given the charge of Technical Education and Industrial Training director along with additional charge of special secretary technical education and industrial training. Deepti Uppal, who has been awaiting posting, has been posted as ADC, Kapurthala vice PCS officer Paramjit Singh-I.

Harpreet Singh  Sudan, available for posting, has been posted as SDM, Raekot vice Shena Aggarwal. Syed Sehrish Asgar is the new SDM, Gurdaspur, Showkat Ahmad Parray as SDM, Nakodar vice Kulwant Singh, Vishesh Sarangal as SDM Malout vice Bikramjit Singh Shergill, Richa as SDM, ludhiana West vice Sanyam Aggarwal.

Meanwhile, the Principal Secretary, Investment Promotion Karan Avtar Singh, IAS would hold the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Industries during the leave of Anirudh Tewari, IAS.

likewise, Additional Resident Commissioner, Punjab Bhawan, New Delhi, Rahul Bhandari would also look after the work of Principal Resident Commission during the leave of K Siva Prasad, IAS.

Similarly, additional CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion DK Tiwari would look after the work of CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion during the leave of Anirudh Tewari, IAS.

PSIEC MD  Amit Dhaka would also look after the work of Director, Mining, the spokesperson added.
