After establishing itself as a market leader in the paneer category through its own brand commanding a major per cent market share, the Omfed is strengthening its position in the dairy products category. With major customers in its fold, the Omfed has slashed the rates to sell more paneer. Now, 500 grams of paneer is available at Rs 110 a kg instead of Rs 125. It has also reduced the 200-gram panner price. It is now priced at Rs 48 instead of Rs 53. The Omfed paneer has a creamier taste. It has high fat content and low moisture as compared to loose paneer available in the market.
