The youngsters will boost up their skills in Hindi language through an essay competition.
An essay competition will be organised On Sunday for the youngsters to enhance their skills in Hindi writing. The competition will be organized by Maulana Azad Central library at its premises on Sunday. The competition is open for all and the aspiring writers are welcomed to try their hand in Hindi writing through the competition.
Notably, Maulana Azad Central library organises this event every year to observe Hindi Divas. Also it is noteworthy that last year the competition received a positive response from the youngsters. Urging a good participation this time too, the library is organizing the event. The programme is also organized to spread awareness among the youngsters about the national language.
The essay competition will be held on the topic ‘Hindi World: Expansion and Possibilities (Hindi Jagat: Vistar Evam Sambhavnaien)’.
Notably, Hindi Diwas is being observed on September 14 every year.
Hindi Diwas is celebrated across the country as on this day Hindi language was adopted as an official language of India. Regional librarian of Maulana Azad Central library said, “This programme is being organized to promote the interest of Hindi language among the young students and also to check their command over Hindi language.” Elaborating further she said, “Further, through such competitions and fests the students would be able to increase their knowledge about Hindi,” she further added. Notably, students always enjoy such competitions and they learn something new out of it.
The essay should be of 1000 words. Prizes will also be given to the winners. The prize money will be `2500, `1500 and `100 as the first, second and third prize respectively. The competition will begin from 11 am.
