Bokaro has become the first city in Jharkhand to boast of a PVR multiplex at Bokaro Mall. Enabled with state-of-the-art technology, PVR has opened a three-screen multiplex with 754 seating capacity at Bokaro; equipped with 3D technology with 7.1 digital Dolby sound effects, 3D enabled and a wide range of F and B, said Biswajeet Bhattacharya of PVR while addressing to the media persons on Wednesday. “Presently PVR is India’s largest cinema chain, with the opening of this multiplex at Bokaro Mall, PVR’s total screens count has gone up to 471 screens at 106 locations across 45 cities in 15 States and 1 Union Territory”, added Bhattacharya. Started in 1997 PVR is the largest and most premium film and Retail Entertainment Company in India which redefined the way of entertainment and providing world-class immersive viewing in India, he said.
