Bhagwati Manav Kalyan Sangathan (BMKS), an NGO based in Beohari tehsil of Shahdol district, has been working against the socio-political evils like corruption, drug addiction, gender and caste bias and superstition for the last 15 years with lakhs of volunteers spread across the country. The organisation plans to launch a State-wide campaign to create awareness about the nuisances of alcoholism and drug abuse, which hampers the healthy development of poor families the most and the entire society at large. It has also been observed by certain think-tank researches that gender abuses like rape are also increased due to these intoxications.

BMKS is going to form allegedly the largest human wall till date comprising lakhs of peaceful crusaders against the malice affecting our society and human values. The outfit already holds the world record for mass blowing of conch shells to mark the protest against aforesaid evils including spiritual superstition and quackery. The organisation is spearheaded by an Indian sage, Shaktiputraji  Maharaj, who has been calling for testing spiritual powers alleged by religious leaders across the globe to bring in more transparency and accountability in the realm of Yoga, meditation and religion. He has been repeatedly raising his voice for such a global event in presence of intellectuals, scientists, media and prominent citizens of society to establish the truth. His ashram is situated in Beohari tehsil of Shahdol district, which he leaves only twice a year due to his yogic pursuit for the welfare of society at large.
