The Wonderland Amusement Park developed by Raipur Development Authority (RDA) which was recently dedicated by Chief Minister Raman Singh would be opened for public from Saturday ( November 8).

Director of Panchamrit Company Ram Ratan Choudhary appointed for the Park by RDA informed that the major technical testing have almost been performed and the swings testing is in last leg. The Park would be open for public from Saturday onwards.

Notably State PWD Minister Rajesh Munat after the inauguration of park had directed the company which would  operate the Park to sell tickets on concessional rates.

The company had agreed and now the Park goers will have to pay Rs25 for enjoying ride on giant wheel or toy train. Separate tickets priced at Rs99 each have been kept for Amusement Park and Water Park. A package of Rs150 is also available for both the Amusement Park and Water Park.

According to RDA Chief Executive Officer Amit Kataria, the Wonderland will not only entertain people but will be also used for educational and sports purpose.

The Wonderland Park is in a sprawling area spread in 19 acres of land will mainly house four activities, which include dry zone, water zone, business and club house.

Decision of developing an international swimming pool has also been proposed in the park which will be used for promoting swimming talents in Chhattisgarh.

Currently, multi-level slide, cyclone, pendulum, multi family slide, rain dance, giant wheel ride, toy train, go-carting, cricket pitch, science park, swing chair, octopus, river cave, multilane kids slide, wave-pool and board club facilities will be currently available in the Park.
