Students of Rishikesh Public School met Guv at Raj Bhavan

A team of students from Rishikesh Public School met Uttarakhand Governor Aziz Qureshi at Raj Bhavan here on Thursday.

The students informed about the protection of Kedarnath and Ganga and also presented him with a model in this regard while speaking to him. The Governor appreciated the efforts of the students and assured them that action would be taken on their suggestions. He said rebuilding Kedarnath and cleaning the Ganga were among the State Government's top priorities.

Principal of the school SS Bhandari said that on October 16, a State-level Science Exhibition was organised in the school. Students from 40 schools had participated in it.

He further said that the students of his school had put forth suggestions regarding the conservation of Kedarnath and Ganga and they had received the first prize for that.
