Rs50l camera falls into dam while shooting for 'Yaara'

The concluding day of shooting of an upcoming Bollywood film ‘Yaara’ became a tragic day for the whole cast and crew when the video camera worth Rs50 lakh accidentally fell into the water. The city of lakes for past few years has become a prime location for the B’town producers and directors. Various productions are heading towards the city to shoot for their movies in the city, similarly Tigmanshu Dhulia known for movies like Paan Singh Tomar and Gangs of Wasseypur was shooting for his directorial movie Yaara on the streets of the city.

According to the sources, here on Monday, the crew was shooting at Kaliyasot Dam and was all set to pack up their schedule on Monday itself. While shooting for a scene the camera was set up at some height, suddenly having a misbalance the camera fell in the water and was drowned. However, the scene was shot with a different camera, the sources added. Yaara is an upcoming 2015 Hindi drama film directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. It features Irrfan Khan, Vidyut Jamwal, Amit Sadh and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. It is an official remake of the 2011 French film les lyonnais. Notably, Shruti Hassan and Vidyut Jamwal along with Tigmanshu Dhulia are in Bhopal.

A small part of the film including a song will be shot in Bhopal. Interestingly, the talent of Bhopal will also be seen in this movie. As many as 15 artists, particularly theatre artist from Bhopal are playing character roles in this movie and 25 are working as junior artists. This is like a great opportunity for the artists of Bhopal to showcase their talent on big screen.
