INTACH India Heritage Quiz: DPS Bokaro shines again

Students of Delhi Public School, Bokaro, emerged as winners in the INTACH India Heritage Quiz 2014. The quiz was held at Crescent Public School, Sector 6, at Bokaro in which a total of five schools including Crescent Public School, Sector 6; Crescent Public School, Chas, GGPS, Chinmaya Vidyalaya and DPS. Bokaro had participated.

Prabhash Kumar, Joydeep Kumar Mandal, Anam Najmi, Sweta, Snehashis Pattanyak and Arya Baranwal. Prabhash Kumar and Joydeep Kumar Mandal performed excellently and thus, emerged as the winners; “the team was escorted by Sayed Fasihullah”, said a school authority.

These students are also selected for the zonal round which will be held on 8 August in Ranchi. Dr. Hemlata S. Mohan, Director and Principal of DPS Bokaro congratulated the students and teachers on their success.

INTACH- Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage is India’s largest non-profit membership organisation dedicated to the conservation and preservation of India’s natural, cultural, living, tangible and intangible heritage. In order to commemorate INTACH’s 30th anniversary of founding, it is conducting the largest ever inter school quiz in India in collaboration with Xpress-Minds.
