Dr Chaubal new president of GMC

In the biannual election of Alumni of Gandhi Medical College (GMC), Bhopal, leading gastroenterologist Dr CC Chaubal was elected as president, while renowned Radiologist Dr Shailesh lunawat as Secretary General.

There are about 10,000 members of alumni rendering their Services in the country and abroad and few of them are holding highest post in national defence services, Health services and head of institutions in US and UK. Besides, there are MP and MlC from the State.

Newly elected secretary Dr Shailesh lunawat briefed that Gandhi Medical College celebrating its Diamond Jubilee next year and Alumni with GMC will organise a grand function in which 5,000 Alumni families are expected to participate. Other office bearers are Dr Singara, Dr Arvind Joshi and Rini Malik as vice president, Dr Arvind Rai Treasurer and Dr KK Kawre as joint secretary.
