Sharply reacting to the reports in a section of the media that Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Damodar Rout is seriously ailing, his daughter Preetinanda Routray on Friday said some people with vested interests are trying to create a situation so that Dr Rout vanishes from active politics.
Informing that her father has no such ailment that would hit headlines, she said, “All parties would admit that Dr Rout has been a prominent milestone in the Odisha political scenario. If some people are trying to damage him by creating such manoeuvered rumours then they will not succeed in doing so.”Routray said that as a sensible person her father has undergone some normal checkups only.
