Alliance Française de Bhopal is organising a Ciné-Club on Saturday at 6 pm at its gallery in Bhopal. A French movie, Queen of Montreuil, will be screened for the film- lovers of the city.
Notably, this film screening is open for all those who love to watch movies. It would be a delightful experience for the movie-lovers of the city.
Moreover, the Ciné-Club is organised every month so that students can watch French movies and get an opportunity to hone their French language skills. For beginners the Alliance Francaise de Bhopal will screen the movie with the English subtitles. Further cine club is open for the entire movie lovers including the students of Alliance Francaise’s any branch.
Queen of Montreuil is a 2003 movie. Directed by Sólveig Anspach, the movie stars Florence loiret Caille, Didda Jónsdóttir, Úlfur Ægisson.
The story follows the life of a girl Agathe who lives in Montereuil. It's early summer and Agathe is back in France, at home in Montreuil. She has to get over her husband's death and return to her work as a film director. The unexpected arrival at her house of a couple of Icelanders, a sea lion and a neighbour that she has always desired yet never vanquished will give Agathe the strength to get her life back on track.
The screening of the movie would be held from 6 pm onwards. The students of all age groups can be a part of the screening to test their French language skills as well as to enjoy the screening.
