3 KISS Kho Kho players in State team
Bhubaneswar: Three KISS students got selected in the State Kho Kho girls team to participate in the 19th East Zone National Kho Kho Championship to be held in Bihar from June 28 to 30.
Mandakini Majhi, Mamita Jani and Buji Kadraka are the KISS players. KISS and KIIT founder Dr Achyuta Samant wised the players and the State team.
Sports Hostel win in FAO Football league
Bhubaneswar: Subash Pradhan of Sports Hostel netted double goals and guided the team to edged out Azadhind Club by 3-0 goals in the league round match of the FAO 1st Division Football league at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on Thursday.
Sunil Sardar of the hostel draw the first blood in the 30th minute. Subash joined the party and netted double goals in the 41st and 72nd minutes respectively. Another match of the day between State Bank of India and JBCC ended in 1-1 goal draw in the stipulated time. J B C C took the lead at 11th minute by a goal from Anil Deep and the State Bank of India equalised it at 42th minute by Biplab Dehury. On Friday league match YVCG would meet Bidanasi Club.
