The first batch of Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM) would begin at IIM Raipur from new academic session scheduled from Monday 17 June. The classes will begin from 18 June onwards.

EFPM is a unique doctoral programme in management specifically designed for working professionals with more than ten years of work experience in industry. IIM Raipur has endeavored to start this programme for such experienced professionals who can pursue doctoral programme with minimum disruption of their work to achieve their personal pursuits.

The programme is intended to bring industry and academia close to each other. EFPM aims at fostering independent thought and fuels research thinking and practices resulting in valuable contribution to the creation of body of knowledge.

The Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) for year 2013-2015 will also starts from 17 June 2013-2015.  Their preparatory classes would begin from 18 June and conclude on 26 June. In these classes they will be introduced to the basics in Statistics, Accounting and Communication.

The FPM students of IIM Raipur will be attending advanced courses in research at IIM Bangalore, a senior research institute which has been known for its academic rigor, highest quality research and excellence over decades. The endeavor has provided a unique opportunity to the young and budding scholars at IIM Raipur to engage in contemporary research in merging areas and to benefit from the rich resources and collaborative environment at IIM Bangalore. Another unique feature of this initiative is the kind of leverage it has given to the research scholars from the institute in terms of learning which comes from sharing each other’s ideas apart from the theories learnt in within the walls of classrooms.
