Deepesh Kumar Sinha of Chhattisgarh has become first volleyball player of the State to be the part of the India’s Men’s Junior (Under 21) at Men’s World Volleyball Championship to scheduled in cities of Ankara and Izmar of Turkery from August 22 to September 1.
Deepesh has left for Turkey with Indian team to participate in the championship. Deepesh for past five months was in the training camp held at Southern South Centre SAI, Bangalore.Notably Deepesh was honoured with best blocker award during Asian Championship in Iran.
Chhattisgarh State Volleyball Association president Rajesh Munat and Director General of Police Ramniwas have congratulated Deepesh on his selection informed Associationsecretary Mohd Akram Khan.
Currently Russia is the defending champions. They will face a double South American threat – from Argentina and Brazil – as well as from fellow Europeans Serbia, Poland and Italy.
