Head of the Department of cardiology in the Sri Sathyasai Super Specialty Hospital in Bangalore Dr PK Dash has been recently felicitated by the Sri Sathyasai Seva Samity, here.
Paradip Port Trust Chairman Sudhanshu Sekhara Mishra presented a shawl and memento to the cardiologist and praised him for his services. Sri Sahtyasai Books and Publications Trust convenor Parshuram Sahoo delivered the welcome address and Paradip Sai Samity convenor Bibhuti Bhusan Mishra gave the vote of thanks.
Jagatsinghpur district president of Sri Sahtyasai Seva Organisation Bipin Bihari Panigrahi conducted the programme. Sri Sathyasai Trust convenor Antaraymi Pattnaik, secretary and other officials of PPT were present during the felicitation programme.
During his weeklong private visit to his native place, Dr Dash held heart check-up camps across several places and the last one at Tirtol near Paradip.
He checked around 600 patients. Dr Dash was nominated for the "Outstanding Health Professional Worldwide" award in 2007 by the International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England and also received the "Rashtriya Rattan Award" for his contribution to the field of medicine in India in 2008.
